No great race this time in Pittsburgh...This time The gardening Writers of America gave an award to Jeanne, and she also picked up a few for the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens.... And that left me to enjoy quality time with the intrepid CBS/KDKA Andrew Sheehan with whom i investigated a range of car jacks and the relationship between rubber and nails.
And he and I had the best dumplings including juicy buns/soupy dumplings at a not very everyday
Everyday Noodles. On the Strip there was clam and later pirogi shopping and a great linguine with clam sauce derived from one of those trips at the Shadylane abode.
And Jeanne and i also delighted ourselves at GRIT AND GRACE.

Grit and Grace is a new top ten in the nation for me. The small dim sum plates and the hearty noodles were a perfect blend. The wine list was novel and cocktails that others tried looked festive. The short rib slider was comfort on a biscuit.
