Hard to reserve on Resy but they are open late and for us the chance came with a guest chef trying out their discovered ancient coal oven, Grew up near this spot ....where the pull chain toilet pictured above was common in hallways between apartments. The best pizza came before my teens on i think Central Ave in a bar with a curtain booth

 next to their coal oven. So we were served a great salad and charred chicken and sausage and potatoes. huge great meal....THEN I ASKED IF WE COULD TRY THE PIZZA. BINGO! ZOOMED 

 BACK TO THE CURTAINED SEAT ...BANG! JUST LOOK AT THIS PIE. NICE PEOPLE TOO WERE AROUND US TOO. GO..

BE DETERMINED . TIME TRAVEL IS TOO GEAT A THING TO LET THE OPPORTUNITY GO.
