This dinner was just right and it didn't hurt that the waning pandemic weather was perfect. Greenpoint was active. The Greenpoint Brewery was jumping. Much was new in this part of town but polish bakeries were still baking.
At Esme the garden beckoned and we were not alone. I overheard a new staffer being oriented and coached with care and kindness. and at our table servers delivered a delightful crispy veggie burger,
tasty cauliflower buds and clams with bits of ham was in a broth that cried for bread...until it was offered and delivered quickly.
